MINISTRIES

Where Can I Serve?

We are sent to serve others in the power of God and for the glory of God. We are a church that believes in God’s call to build His kingdom by serving others. Everyone has God-given talents and passions that are meant to fulfill this design. We are dedicated to helping people discover God’s will for their lives, and using our gifts to reach out into our local and global community.

We have Ministry Teams you can serve on from Ushers to Greeters, to babies, kids, & students, to buildings & grounds. See our Pastor to discover your gifts and your place to serve to help us BE “His Hands, His Feet, His Heart, His Mission”!

Nazarene Missions International (NMI)

Turkey Creek Church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world through the Church of the Nazarene.

We are active in supporting our missionaries with our prayers, acts of love, money. The Church of the Nazarene has over 700 active missionaries in a 162 world areas.

Worship Ministry

We are invited to rejoice in all that God is doing in us and through us. We believe in coming together on a consistent basis to celebrate what God has done for us. Our celebration gatherings are open, friendly, and engaging worship experiences. Our desire is for you to leave church feeling connected, energized, and open to God’s desire for our lives.

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our worship ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. These servants are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes.

All of our weekly sermons are broadcasted live and uploaded to our YouTube page.

We also maintain active public and private Facebook pages for additional church communication and prayer requests.

Discipleship

Our discipleship strategy has 2 path’s.

The first path for New Attender’s is called… “Livin’ in the Hills”.

It is 5 Steps to take to learn about Membership, Maturity, Ministry,

Mission, & Meaning.

The second path is for all Attender’s and Member’s.

It is called… “Livin’ Groups”.
They consist of…
Share Groups are for community, fellowship, & the application of God’s word in our lives.
Study Groups are for the intentional study of the word of God.
Support Groups
allow us to find strength and encouragement from the support of others who have similar experiences.

Livin Groups meet at different times and places.

Prayer Gathering

In Matthew 21:13, Jesus said prayer was the primary purpose of the temple in Jerusalem. He told the people there, “My house will be called a house of prayer.”

Because Turkey Creek Church is a house of God, it is a house of prayer. Prayer is a powerful privilege for Christians. Through prayer, we exercise our God-given authority to accomplish God’s eternal purposes. The prayer of faith from a righteous Christian is powerful and effective. Prayer unleashes God’s power.

We have a Bible Study Livin’ Group and Prayer Gathering at the church every Sunday night at 6:30pm.

          Kid’s Ministry

We focus to partner with families in leading kids to grow in their relationship with God and others.

Kids age 6-12 or 5th grade have discipleship on Sunday morning’s and Wednesday night’s at the church.
